Directions from Minneapolis-St Paul (MSP) Airport to HumRRO-Minneapolis Office

There’s only one exit from the MSP airport. Get in the left lane and follow the signs toward Minneapolis.
As you exit the airport, you’ll be forced to merge onto MN State Hwy 5 Eastbound (E).
Within a couple of miles, you need to MOVE INTO THE RIGHT LANES and follow the signs toward Minneapolis and MN State Hwy 55 West.
The highway will curve up over another. Keep following it.
In another mile or so, you’ll see an exit for Hwy 55/Minneapolis. Do NOT take it.
Instead, continue straight ahead. The road will become MN STATE HWY 62.
CONTINUE ON MN STATE HWY 62 for 3-4 miles
TAKE THE NORTHBOUND RAMP FOR I-35W.[1] Follow I-35W northbound for about 5 miles. You’ll see the Minneapolis skyline and will eventually pass to the right (east) of it.
As you approach downtown, make sure you are IN THE RIGHT LANES (The left lanes will take you downtown.)
Follow I-35W northbound to EXIT 18 (UNIVERSITY / 4TH STREET SE).
At the top of the Exit 18 ramp, turn RIGHT onto University Ave and follow it for 5 blocks to 14th Ave. SE.
Turn LEFT onto 14th Ave. SE. Go forward two blocks to 5th Street SE.
Turn LEFT onto 5th Street SE.
You will be driving in front of the UTEC Building. It’s on your right. It looks like an old high school (because it was once). The main entrance is on 5th Street SE.
Park in the pay lot immediately beyond (west of) the building, on the right hand side.
Go in the main entrance of the building. There will be someone there who can direct you to Suite 321. (Basically, go to the 3rd floor and look in the northeast quadrant of the building.)

Returning to the MSP Airport from the UTEC Building:

If you’re in the parking lot beside the UTEC building, the cross street as you exit is 5th Street, and the nearest parallel street is 13th Ave. SE. Take 13th Ave SE and follow it ONE BLOCK to 4th Street SE.
Turn RIGHT onto 4th Street SE. Follow it several blocks until you see signs for I-35W Southbound. (You’ll need to be in the left hand lanes).
Get on I-35W Southbound and follow it about 5 miles. As you drive south on I-35W, you’ll see signs to the airport. Follow them.
You will transition from I-35W Southbound onto MN State Hwy 62 (Eastbound). You will continue to see signs to the airport. Continue to follow them.

[1] The “W” technically stands for West, but it doesn’t mean that the highway is westbound. It designates the western branch of I-35 as it cuts through the Twin Cities. There is an I-35E. If you find yourself on I-35E, stop and call for directions. You are very lost.
