HumRRO Joins PARC to help DoD Detect Insider Threats

In a project supported by the Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency (DARPA), HumRRO is working with its colleagues at Xerox PARC, the NASA Ames Research Center, and Stony Brook University to develop technology to detect security threats from organizational insiders. HumRRO will provide expertise in dynamic psychological modeling, the psychology of insider attacks, and the connection between personality traits and behavior, complementing methods of data mining, anomaly detection, and social network analysis provided by its partners.

Suzanne Tsacoumis Becomes SIOP Fellow

In January 2012, Dr. Suzanne Tsacoumis, a HumRRO Vice President, was elected to Fellowship status in the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP). This is a distinguished honor that was given in recognition of Suzanne's significant contributions to practice (particularly with regard to her long-term, innovative work with managerial and leadership assessments), as well as her service to SIOP and the profession of I-O psychology.

Bill Strickland elected to serve APA

Bill Strickland, HumRRO's President, has been elected by the American Psychological Association's Council of Representatives to serve a 3-year term on APA's Policy and Planning Board. That nine-member Board reviews and makes recommendations on all current and proposed policies of the Association, including the structure and function of the Association as a whole.

HumRRO Awarded GSA IT Schedule

HumRRO recently was awarded the GSA IT Schedule 70 which allows us to bid
on IT requirements in the Federal government.

Schedule 70 is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award schedule that facilitates the process of procuring IT and telecommunication products, services, and solutions.
